(25/07/23) MOGADISHU -Somalia’s Ambassador to China, Mr. Awale Ali Kullane, recently attended a meeting hosted by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The conference focused on ways for the two countries to strengthen bilateral ties and share knowledge.
The Ambassador also attended a tour of China Railway Group Limited (CREC), a leading Chinese construction company. The tour gave the ambassador an opportunity to learn more about China’s progress in railway infrastructure.
Ambassador Awale emphasised the importance of knowledge sharing and raising awareness between Somalia and China, particularly in the field of railway infrastructure. He also stated that he believes the two countries can learn a lot from each other.
During the visit, the ambassador met with a number of high-level officials, and he was able to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral ties in a number of areas, including trade, investment, and education.
