(22-08-23) MOGADISHU – The Federal Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hassan Moallin Mohamud, has recognised the accomplishments of the liberating operation in the Galgaduud region. Minister Mohamud conveyed congratulations to the military for their achievements and urged them to maintain the momentum of the operations until all objectives are met.
He advised the citizens residing in the recently liberated zones, as well as areas pending liberation, to remain indoors, disregard threats from Al-Shabaab, and demonstrate resilience while backing the army. In return, he pledged the government’s commitment to reinstate essential services and restore normalcy in the liberated areas and villages.
Echoing these sentiments, the Chief of the Somali National Army, General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyadin, voiced optimism regarding the ongoing campaign, particularly noting the significant losses inflicted upon the enemy in a short period of time.
