(27-09-23) MOGADISHU — An explosion rocked the Dayniile district of Mogadishu on Wednesday, injuring two soldiers and two civilians, according to security officials.
The blast occurred in a vehicle accompanying Abdirahman Ali, the Security Commander of the Deniile District in Mogadishu. The commander and his soldiers were in the midst of conducting security operations when the mine detonated.
Government forces are now investigating the site of the explosion, which unfolded as security personnel have been ramping up operations in the Somali capital to improve safety conditions.
The injured are currently receiving medical treatment; however, details on their conditions have not been disclosed.
