(15/11/23) MOGADISHU – Somalia’s Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, Ahmed Moallin Fiqi, held discussions on Wednesday with the German Ambassador to Somalia, Amb. Sebastian Groth, in Mogadishu. The dialogue encompassed a range of topics, notably peacebuilding efforts, humanitarian assistance, and the ongoing flood crisis in the Horn of Africa nation.
Ambassador Groth reaffirmed Germany’s support for Somalia’s principal priorities. Minister Fiqi expressed gratitude for the Ambassador’s commitment, acknowledging Germany’s and other international partners’ contributions to Somalia, particularly in state-building and peacekeeping fronts.
