(23-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — Somalia’s former Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Fahad Yasin, has announced his foray into social media. In a brief statement to the press, the former NISA Director said the decision came in light of the importance of establishing a direct and unfiltered channel to communicate with the public.
In his statement, Yasin declared his intention to use social media platforms as his sole and official medium for sharing insights and information. He warned his followers to be wary of any other social media accounts bearing his name, dismissing them as either being operated by foreign-influenced agents or individuals exploiting falsehoods for personal gain.
The ex-chief has now initiated his presence on X, previously known as Twitter, under the handle @FahadBinYasin.
