(02-01-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Chief of Somalia’s National Armed Forces, General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyadin Addow, has paid a morale-boosting visit to the national armed forces and local defence forces in the Ad-Addey frontlines, Middle Shabelle region.
The SNA Chief received updates from the commanding officers of the national army troops stationed in Ad-Addey. He praised their diligent execution of national responsibilities and encouraged them to redouble their commitment to the nation.
“We are bound by an oath to withstand the heat and challenges to protect the Somali people, who have been terrorised by Al-Shabaab for over a decade. These terrorists are nearing their end,” said the SNA Chief.
The National Armed Forces Command has recently intensified its military activities across several regions in the country to eliminate the threat posed by the group.
