(12-02-24) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) — The Acting Prime Minister, who also serves as the Deputy Prime Minister, Salah Ahmed Jama, presided over a key meeting with various governmental bodies on Monday, in a move to enhance collaboration between the federal government and its citizens.
Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Abdirahman Yusuf Al-Addala, briefed the session’s focus: rallying the Somali people around crucial national issues, such as safeguarding the nation, countering extremism, and addressing constitutional issues.
Minister Al-Addala revealed the government’s intention to involve citizens directly in the discourse on the war against Al-Shabaab and finalising the Constitution, now a subject of parliamentary deliberation, underscoring its notable significance for the country’s future path.
