SSC-Khaatumo leader Ahmed Firdhiye was received in Mogadishu on Tuesday by senior federal government officials led by Interior Minister Ali Yussuf Ali. Speaking to the press upon arrival, Mr Firdhiye said that during his work trip to Mogadishu, he will engage in discussions with federal government leaders over partnerships on a range of issues.
He added that he intends to undertake broader visits at the end of his visit to the Somali capital. His arrival coincided with the opening of the National Consultative Council meeting between the federal government, federal member states, and the Banadir Regional Administration.
