(29 July 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs has announced a forthcoming reform of the Ministry’s policies and work procedures. Minister Ahmed Moallim Fiqi said these reforms seek to establish a framework for improving the Ministry’s performance through effective coordination and strategic initiatives.
The Minister made the remarks during a meeting with the Permanent Secretary and various Ministry advisors. The discussion focused on achieving tangible results and prioritising key issues, including the Ministry’s framework, foreign policy, and work procedures.
During the meeting, the Minister instructed the formation of committees composed of advisors and experts, including diplomats, to review and propose policies and procedures. The goal is to enhance work efficiency in alignment with the Ministry’s strategic objectives.
