(22 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, today welcomed a delegation of ambassadors representing several Arab nations to his office in Mogadishu.
The delegation included Mr. Fadhl Ali Ahmed Al-Hanak, Ambassador of Yemen; Mr. Ahmed Juma Al-Rumaithi, Ambassador of the UAE; Dr. Abdullahi bin Salim Al-Nuaimi, Ambassador of Qatar; Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Salah Al-Mawlid, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia; and Mr. Ammar Ahmed Babiker, Acting Ambassador of Sudan.
The visit was to extend condolences after the passing of Minister Fiqi’s mother, Fatima Shirdoon Duale, who passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The Minister expressed gratitude for the diplomats’ solidarity and support during this challenging time.
