(20 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) –The Somali National Army has arrested two Al-Shabaab militants during a patrol operation in the mountainous areas of Bay region in South West State.
The operation targeted Al-Shabaab hideouts in Moorso Busto, El Sharif, and El Mareer villages. The two captured militants are currently under investigation. Security forces in South West State have recently intensified anti-Al-Shabaab patrols aimed at improving security and weakening the group’s capabilities.
