(21 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – A specially trained police officer from the Turkish-trained Haram’ad unit, Hanad Ahmed Muse, was killed in Mogadishu on Sunday. Muse was reportedly attacked and killed at his home in Dharkenley district by fellow police officers.
The motive for the killing remains unclear, and there has been no official comment from security agencies regarding the incident. Muse was among the highly trained officers who had recently returned from Turkey after completing advanced training programmes. Clashes among soldiers are not uncommon in Mogadishu, with similar incidents having occurred in the past.
