(16/07/23) Mogadishu – Mr. Abdinasir Ibrahim, The General Secretary of the Somali Senate House, received Ms. Wafaa Elfadil, head of UNICEF in Somalia, and other officers from the organisation.
Ms. Wafaa briefed the Secretary on the organisation’s humanitarian efforts in the country. They also discussed strategies for assisting and protecting children in conflict zones, as well as ways to strengthen UNICEF’s support for education development in Somalia.
Mr. Abdullahi Haaji, the deputy General Secretary of the Somali Senate House, was also present at the meeting.
