(18/07/23) MOGADHISHU – Somalia’s Prime Minister, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Bare, inaugurated the National Drug Repository in Mogadishu, which will help meet the country’s demand for high-quality medical care.
The prime minister emphasized that the center’s establishment is regarded as a significant milestone for both the government and the Nation, as it will aid in addressing the region’s pharmaceutical drug problems that have been faced by the country over the last 30 years, particularly in terms of drug quality and regulation.
The Prime Minister proceeded to thank the people and institutions involved in the center’s establishment, and he encouraged the Ministry of Health and Human Services of Somalia to make good use of the center as well as to open other branches in other countries.
Furthermore, Mr. Hamsa Bare summoned residents of governmental buildings, particularly those owned by the Ministry of Health, to vacate the premises as soon as possible so that the ministry could begin serving citizens.
