(28/07/23) MOGADISHU – On Wednesday, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, met with the Federal Republic of Somalia’s Minister of Defense, Abdul Qadir Mohammed Nur, in Doha.
The meeting discussed issues of joint interest, including reviewing military cooperation between the two sides and ways of enhancing and developing it. The meeting was attended by several senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces.
Qatar has pledged to continue supporting Somalia in its efforts to rebuild and develop the country. The two sides agreed to strengthen their cooperation in all areas and to work together to promote peace and stability in the region.
