(31-12-23) ADIS ABABA (Halqabsi News) — President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland arrived on Sunday in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, for an official visit, signifying a moment in the region’s diplomatic landscape.
Greeted warmly at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, President Abdi was welcomed by Ethiopia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Demeke Mekonnen, alongside other high-ranking officials. This reception underscores the importance Ethiopia places on its relations with Somaliland.
The visit is poised to feature high-level discussions with various Ethiopian government dignitaries. Key on the agenda are regional and bilateral issues, highlighting Somaliland’s strategic role in the Horn of Africa.
