Jubaland Leader Meets with WHO Somalia Head to Discuss Enhanced Health Support

(15-07-24) KISMAYO (Halqabsi News) – Jubaland leader, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, welcomed the head of WHO Somalia, Renee Van de Weerdt, and her delegation at the Presidential Palace on Monday. The meeting focused on increasing WHO’s support for Jubaland and accelerating the provision of health services to people in newly liberated areas, through collaboration between the Jubaland Ministry of Health and Social Care and WHO.

The President was accompanied by the Minister of Health and Social Care, Ismail Garas, and the Director General of the Ministry.
