(17-07-24) BAIDOA (Halqabsi News) – Deputy Chief of the Somali National Army, General Madey Nurey Urufow, was received today in Baidoa, Bay region. He was welcomed by senior SNA commanders, including the commander of SNA’s 60th Division, General Hassan Baidoa, and his deputy, Colonel Ali Habbad, among other senior officers of the 60th Division.
General Urufow was escorted to the headquarters of the SNA in Baidoa, where he held meetings with the regional military commanders, receiving briefings on the overall situation of the SNA welfare and ongoing military operations in the South West State regions.
His visit came amid increased military operations against Al-Shabaab in Bay and Bakool regions.
