(14 Aug 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The Federal Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education received 26,570 applications in its recent national teacher recruitment drive, which seeks to fill 3,000 teaching positions.
Among the applicants, 21,083 were male, and 5,487 were female. Following a selection process, 12,670 candidates—9,546 male and 3,124 female—have passed the written exam and will advance to the next stage.
The recruitment initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader plan to strengthen the education sector by hiring new teachers and expanding access to education across the country.
