(14 Aug 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre welcomed Sudan’s Chargé d’Affaires to Somalia, Ammar Ali, at his office in Mogadishu on Wednesday. The discussions centred on strengthening ties between the two nations, with both sides agreeing to enhance cooperation and collaboration.
Prime Minister Barre conveyed the deep concern of the Somali government and its people over the ongoing situation in Sudan. He reiterated Somalia’s solidarity with Sudan and affirmed the government’s readiness to support peace and reconciliation efforts in the country.
