(24 Sep 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – The local community forces in Galgaduud’s Mesegawa area conducted a pre-dawn operation this morning in the Ali Helle area under Gal’ad district, killing two Al-Shabaab militants and destroying a truck carrying water for the group. In addition, an AK-47 rifle was recovered from one of the slain militants, while the truck was subsequently set ablaze after the operation concluded.
Despite covering a significant distance, the troops were aided by intelligence on the militants’ movements, ensuring the success of the mission.
