(08 Oct 2024) MOGADISHU (Halqabsi News) – Somalia’s new Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, met the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mawlid, on Tuesday. The two officials discussed strengthening security partnerships between the two nations, counterterrorism efforts, and increasing Saudi Arabian support for the Somali police.
Ambassador Ahmed reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Somalia, particularly in the security and police sectors. The new police commissioner continues his introductory engagements after assuming office in early October.
