The fighting in Lasanod has been ongoing for twenty days, and the situation continues to deteriorate. The SSC forces have successfully taken over the Gulwade camp, which was the seat of the Somaliland army command in Sool. This marks a significant victory for the SSC forces, who have been fighting to protect the people of SSC.
In the latest development, Somaliland attacked the city on two fronts, leading to an hour of intense fighting. Bihi’s local commander Mahad Canbaashe was ultimately defeated, and his forces suffered significant losses.
